Use and maintenance

  • Please keep the external surface of the barrier clean, in particular keep the light filter plate clean and avoid dust that can affect the reception of infrared lights.
  • Frequently inspect the connection status of cables, fixings, power cables and signal cables.
  • Do not wash with water or with solvents of various types, use a slightly damp soft cloth to remove any impurities.

Installation guide

  • Install the transmitter (TX) and receiver (RX) correctly making sure that they can be reached comfortably by the cables. The installation method is the same as that used for a common mechanical safety system. Check horizontal and vertical compliance.
  • Connect the transmitter (TX) and the receiver (RX) correctly, the cables must be firmly and correctly fixed with cable clamps. When connecting the cables, the redundant ones can be bundled into the laces by means of cable ties, please keep them away from the power supply and from high voltages to avoid possible electromagnetic interference.
  • After a correct installation the system can be turned on to work.
  • Connect the appropriate supply voltage: see characteristics of the module used.
  • Power the module and check the correct installation of the barriers.
When the barrier is not obstructed, only the green LED light on the receiver (RX) is lit.
When the barrier is obstructed by some object, both the green LED light and the red LED light are on or flashing, while the relay is not powered.
